Eight of Pentacles

What a great day for the Eight of Pentacles. I'm working my other job as tech support, and this week we've had a major system outage. Unfortunately, all of our developers are on vacation this week, so I've had to learn how to manage technical issues and calm users down all by my lonesome. Unlike the eight, I'm not proud of my work. Instead, I'd like a new career. If you're looking for a sign to switch careers the Eight of Pentacles is it!

The Eight is a skilled craftsperson or apprentice. It could represent a student completing his or her PhD, a hobbyist finishing a project, or a laborer completing a daily task.

In any situation, the Eight is about patience, hard work, and pride over one's accomplishments. Success is just around the corner, and although it may not result in financial reward, it is satisfying enough to have completed a hard day's work.
