Fallstaff is named for the comedic Shakespearean character - He's something to laugh at (like the town in my book, which the character Kelsey calls "yokel") but he also offers a lot of insight into the human experience (also like my little town). Another made-up place in the book is the Jefferson City Zoo. There is no Zoo housing pregnant aquatic animals in Jefferson City. Tell us about yourself! I like your pen name. Is that a question? Okay, thanks. My husband has "Emmy" engraved in his wedding band because he was told my real first name wouldn't fit (which is strange because it's much shorter width-wise, but whatever.) It was a cool opportunity to use it as part of my pen name. And Tidning? Tidning is a Swedish word that means magazine, journal, or... paper. What were you doing before you were a writer? I've only ever been a writer and I do not have a corporeal existence outside of this romance novelette. That's a really weird thing to say. I know, I'm a weird figment of your imagination.
